I'm just getting back into the swing of things here on dA (as well as on my tumblr and new twitter account! /shamelesspromotionpls), so please excuse me as I attempt to slowly re-set-up my online social life @__@

In other news, I'll probably be entering a 1-week hiatus starting sometime tomorrow night--the fam has decided to take a cruise to Florida and the Bahamas. _{FUCKYAH,HARRYPOTTERWORLDHEREICOMEgonnageekoutbymahselfff}

So yah. I'll try to check up on things once in a while. But.. I'll probably be as active as I've been for the last few months (harhar) over the course of next week.

Dear deviants,

(Especially my beloved TNO lovers <3 )I'm.. Sorry I dropped off the face of the Earth :'D The reason is, of course, because I've been having a very difficult time juggling between my loads of schoolwork, dance, work, and social life-- so somethings needed to give. Unfortunately, those things just so happened to be art and sleep. u__u But! Through all that glum and misery and pressure that is currently my life, I was able to meet the amazing artists Erina and na-insoo, both of whom go to my school c: They are both fun, and amazing people, not to mention kick-ass artists, and I hope I'll be getting to know them a lot better in the future! Hee <3




Now~~ To the main point of this journal! To all my TNO friends:
--for some reason, I've been doodling Rin non-stop on the margins of all my class notes and papers. BUT all these pictures are of her and her alone because I really have no idea who to draw her with, and what they should be doing (cos, at this moment, I can't rp at all with you guys anymoreee).

SO I'd be really grateful if you guys could volunteer your TNO characters to be drawn with her, as well as either a description of what they should be doing or a general theme. (ex1. Rin and Jana goofing off in the pool; ex2. Rin and Tobi, theme: clouds)

These'll be cleaned sketches at best, and I'd loooove it if you guys were to line it, color it, or maybe both. But that's not at all required hehehe. ..Hopefully I'll get at least one or two people to volunteer? *nervous* ><;;

It was SO amazing, you don't even know (unless you were there. Which would make you one of my new favorite people<3).

We arrived pretty early in the morning on Saturday, which was definately worth getting up at 6:40 in the morning for. But yah-- it was me, Courtney (TheDeathEmbodied), and Jen (Jemmy-sama). I cosplayed as Kairi from KHII on Saturday and Rukia from Bleach on Sunday ;D. Courtney was Larxy from KH: CoM and Jen was Tohru from Fruits Basket.

Eeh. I was actually pretty reluctant at first cos unlike Courtney, I didn't really have a Portcon Forums username and had NO idea what was going on. So I just stood there. Pretty much. >>;; But thankfully, the con picked up really fast after that moment of awkwardness. We met up with Courtney's friend, Anna (ChibiDomino), who was cosplaying Zexion, also from KH: CoM, and her friend Beth.

We made a HELL of a lot of trips to the artists alley because everyone I hung out with were pretty much art whores like me. :'D Hyuu~ I was actually surprised at how friendly the artists were. We seemed to have made a LOT of friends by just hanging by art stalls and talking to the artists that were within ear-shot. Too bad I don't remember most of their names-- my memory is horrid to me like that-- but hopefully, I'll be able to find them through dA. The artist who was drawing customizable pins was AMAZING <3~ She drew so fast and so well it made me kind of jealous, no lies. I ordered a customized pin of my KH OC character, Selixia from her-- cos it was the only natural thing to do ;D. There was also this guy who drew in a Marvel comics-esque style REALLY WELL who offered me a discount on a commission. I really wanted him to draw me cosplaying as Selixia-- but alas, even with the discount, I was too poor to buy art from him ;(. But he was really nice to me about it so I'll probably end up buying art from him next year ;D. Also, there were a pair of artists at a booth whose art BLEW ME AWAY. So I naturally had to order a commission from them (...of Selixia. Real big surprise there, huh?). @___@ HOLY CRAP. An hour later, when I came back to check back on the commish, the art blew me away. It was SO amazing. I'm still drooling over it. Well-- around it, really, cos if --god forbid-- anything stained/crumpled/ripped the picture, I'd throw a tantrum. We also bought a lot of stuff from the uh... Place with a lot of stuff to buy >>;;;; And there was a cute asian guy at one of the 'stores.' But alas, he looked really busy, so I spared him from getting hit on by a short, high school asian girl. ;D

Anywho, I met a lot of cool people there, too A LOT of KH Organization XIII members, who I loved. Unfortunately, a lot of them shunned me on Saturday cos I kept forgetting I was cosplaying as Kairi. Their enemy. Oops; haha. But yah-- my love for the Organization > my love for the Wielders. Which confused some people as to why I was cosplaying as Kairi, but y'know. It was a spur of the moment thing-- and as opposed to KHI, I actually liked Kairi's personality in II, so. ;D But yah-- I remember there was a Riku (whom my friends seem to like refering to as "the Riku manwhore") who nearly refused to give me a hug cos I was Kairi and she was a SorRiku shipper XD. But alas, she could not resist my cuteness! Ah well, I'll just have to cosplay as a member from the Organization next year, won't I? ;D Cos y'know... That yaoi action going on at the KH photoshoot was pretty hot--- that and the Organization pretty much is my life. Dun think cosplaying as Kairi exactly showed that very well.

We went to the mall across from the convention, too-- in our costumes ;D. Mainly for kicks, but also cos we were WAY too hungry to go waste time changing. This was right after I met up with another Riku, who, like Courtney, was more than a foot taller than me D; I was okay with it after a while, though, cos he was pretty nice-- let me steal a blob of his sushi (without... the fish). And people who feed me are auto-loved, so. Cha. Besides food, I really don't remember if we bought anything from the mall, though we DID play Guitar Hero in Best Buy, which was pretty intense! Note to self: NEVER attempt playing Guitar Hero if the guitar doesn't have the strap on it AGAIN. Someone also told me they really loved my Kairi costume, which made me really happy cos there were a LOT of good KHII Kairi costumes and mine was not really... Finished D;

After we came back to the Hotel and finally changed out of our cosplay costumes, we all went down to the rave. Um. It smelt nice? NO. I nearly cried at how stinky it was DD: Haha-- I felt especially sorry for our Zexy; but she was decostumed, so hopefully, she didn't have a heightened sense of smell when we went dancing cos WHOO, BOY, it stunk. We also met up with Johnny (known previously as 'that tall Riku kid' cos his nickname, Patsy, makes me think of a pink anime bunny) a little while later. Courtney, Anna, and Beth left a little while later-- probably cos the smell was too intense for them @__@, so it was only me, Jen, and Johnny. I dunno. It was pretty hot, still-- the whole choochoo train we were dragged into and all. They also played Ayumi Hamasaki's Fly High, which made me scream the lyrics at the top of my lungs. Damn, I nearly passed out a few songs later XD So we went outside for a drink of water and to cool down~ Then, later on that night, we went back upstairs to watch 300 with the three that left us at the rave. It was pretty intense. I woke up in the morning without my voice from all the screaming I did the day before. But yah, Sunday was pretty much a wrap-up, let's-buy-more-art day. We were present at the watermelon sacrifice, though. It was hot stuff, this amazing Trigun cosplayer pulled out a suitcase from his car, filled with sharp knives. XD But then... After getting some art and groped by some people (cos schoolgirl!Rukia is pretty hot, afterall ;D)... We left. It was sad. I'm still in shock, really.
